Join us for one of the most famous operas of all time! Carmen, a fiery Spanish rose, loves to live on the edge and uses her charms to get what she wants – but beware; play with her and you might get burned. The steadfast young soldier, Don José falls madly in love with her and unknowingly seals both of their fates; for better or worse. This special production is abridged for student audiences, sung in French with English subtitles and accompanied by a live orchestra. Come hear Bizet’s renowned music in a story that illustrates how the choices we make can affect everyone around us.
