Ticket Exchanges
Subscribers may exchange tickets for alternate dates after receiving their tickets in September. We are sorry, but we are unable to accommodate exchange requests before you receive your tickets. If you cannot attend on any of the alternate dates, you can donate them back to the organization as a tax deduction. Please note that there are no cross-opera exchanges; any exchanges for a production must be into another date of that same production.
Donating Tickets to Opera Colorado
No refunds are given for any reason, including but not limited to supertitle malfunction, weather conditions, and change of cast or orchestra; however, subscribers can donate their tickets up to the day before the performance during regular office hours and receive a receipt for a tax-deduction purposes. Ticket donations will only be allowed for mainstage opera tickets. Simply deliver, mail, or fax in your tickets to the box office to receive credit for your donation. If you donate tickets within 24 hours of a performance, we will give you a tax deduction ONLY if your tickets are resold.

Issues related to ticketing or seating must be filed within 72 hours following the ticketed performance. All ensuing actions must be rectified within 7 days of the ticketed performance.
Ticket Scalping
Due to the popularity of Opera Colorado performances, some ticket brokers out there are trying to sell opera tickets at highly inflated prices. One broker was offering seats in the rear of the balcony for $245—tickets that normally sell for $29! Please be aware of the following:
1. Scalping tickets is illegal in Denver, but because these brokers are often out of state there is no way to enforce the law.
2. Opera Colorado cannot guarantee that the tickets are valid. If you buy tickets from a ticket broker and they are overpriced or invalid, Opera Colorado assumes no responsibility. We will not refund the ticket price or reseat you in valid seats.
Know who you are purchasing tickets from before handing over your credit card! Ticketmaster is Opera Colorado’s sole ticket provider.
