The first moments of a budding romance, sung by Anya Matanovic (Mimi) and Dominick Chenes (Rodolfo), stand out as one of the most romantic moments in all of opera. After Rodolfo’s “Che gelida manina” (What a frozen little hand) and Mimì’s “Sì, mi chiamano Mimì” (Yes, they call me Mimì), the pair falls in love in the duet “O soave fanciulla” (Oh lovely girl). They leave to go join their comrades at Cafè Momus, singing “Amor, Amor, Amor!” #SempreOC

Puccini’s “La bohème” was performed at the Ellie Caulkins Opera house in 2017.
