Baritone Olafur Sigurdarson rails against the concept of honor and how, in his opinion, it is just another meaningless word. In “L’onore? Ladri!” He berates his comrades Pistola (bass-baritone Andrew Hiers) and Bardolfo (tenor Nathan Ward) for refusing to deliver his letters, in an attempt to seduce the wealthy Meg Page and Alice Ford.

The casting for this production was absolutely perfect there couldn’t have been a better Falstaff it is among the top three productions on my favorites list for op colo (and the only opera I have missed so far was the first Traviata in all those 30+ years)
