Steven Mark Kohn’s one-woman opera, The Trial of Susan B. Anthony, is a great place to start. This 30-minute performance features mezzo-soprano Adriana Zabala playing multiple roles, including the judge, the prosecuting and defense attorneys, a witness, and Susan B. Anthony herself, accompanied by pianist Myra Huang.
