The Ellie Caulkins Opera House is located in downtown Denver, at the Denver Performing Arts Complex on the corner of 14th and Curtis Streets.
Take I-25 towards downtown Denver. Exit Speer Boulevard South. Continue on Speer Boulevard and turn left on Arapahoe Street. The Denver Performing Arts Complex is located on your right, between 13th and 14th Streets. The main entrance to the DPAC parking garage is on Arapahoe Street.
Parking at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House
Garage parking is available in the Denver Performing Arts Complex and Colorado Convention Center garages. However, please note that both the DPAC and Convention Center frequently hosts several events a day, and the garages can fill up quickly—especially on weekends. Please plan to arrive early to secure parking! Or, consider alternate forms of transportation, including RTD Light Rail, Uber, or Lyft.
Late-comers will be seated at the earliest possible break in the performance; for some performances, this may not be until the first intermission. Opera Colorado does not offer refunds in the event of late arrival or missed performance.
The Denver Performing Arts Complex Garage
This is the most convenient option for accessing the Ellie Caulkins Opera House and is operated by the City and County of Denver. Entrances to the garage are located on both 13th Street and Arapahoe Street. The garage can accommodate 1700 vehicles and does fill up quickly on performance days.
PARKING ALERT!
Construction began January 22 to improve the Arts Complex Parking Garage. Expect heavy delays.
- 13th Street entrance will be closed from January 22 through March 17
- Arapahoe Street entrance will be closed from March 18 through early May
The Colorado Convention Center Parking Garage
This garage offers 1000 additional parking spaces and is located across the street from the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Patrons should take the Z elevators on the Champa Street side to “Street Level.” Then cross Champa at the signal and follow the 13th Street sidewalk to the DPAC. (The path is accessible and well-lit.) From there, take the DPAC Garage elevators to Level 3 to reach the Ellie Caulkins Opera House entrance.
THE OPERA COLORADO OPERA CENTER

Opera Colorado’s administrative offices and rehearsal studio are located within the Oxford Station Apartments complex in Englewood, on the southeast corner of South Santa Fe Drive and West Oxford Avenue. The entrance to the complex is on South Navajo Street.
The Opera Colorado Opera Center is also accessible via RTD Light Rail, and conveniently located across the street from the Oxford Station stop.
Parking at the Opera Colorado Opera Center
No event parking is available inside the complex lot, as these spaces are reserved for local residents. Therefore, many Opera Colorado events held at the rehearsal studio also offer complimentary valet parking for ticketbuyers. At such events, staff will be on-site to direct you to valet parking. Limited, free street parking may also available on South Navajo Street.
