Each seat in the Ellie Caulkins Opera House is outfitted with an individual Figaro System, which offers subtitles of the performance in English or Spanish. Instructions for operating the titling system are included in the program book you’ll receive at the performance, along with a synopsis of the opera. Subtitles in English will also be projected above the stage.

If you experience difficulty with the system, please contact an usher for assistance.

The Denver Performing Arts Complex Garage offers accessible parking on levels three, four, and five. The Ellie Caulkins Opera House entrance is located on level three. Please be aware that the DPAC often hosts several events a day, and parking can fill up quickly. However, you can ensure event parking by pre-purchasing your spot online.

If parking across the street at the Colorado Convention Center Garage, patrons should take the Z elevators on the Champa Street side to “Street Level.” Then cross Champa at the signal and follow the 13th Street sidewalk to the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The path is accessible and well-lit. From there, take the DPAC Garage elevators to Level 3 to reach the Ellie Caulkins Opera House entrance.

Courtesy wheelchairs are available to patrons attending opera performances at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.  Please contact the Denver Arts Complex Communications Center at 720.865.4224 upon arrival to dispatch a wheelchair.
