Did you know it costs Opera Colorado, on average, $800,000 to produce one opera? That includes the costs of renting the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, creating or renting sets and costumes, and hiring the finest opera singers, among many other necessary expenses.
But we do even more than what you see on our mainstage. Each season, our Education & Community Programs reach more than 45,000 students and community members statewide, through touring productions, educational workshops, free public performances, and more.
Our mission of changing lives through this grandest of art forms is only possible with your support. In fact, donations from individuals comprise the single largest source of Opera Colorado’s annual income. But there are many ways to give—and we encourage you to review these pages and consider how you can join our family of supporters.
