When you donate publicly-traded stocks to Opera Colorado, you may avoid capital gains taxes. You may also take the full fair market value of the gift as a charitable deduction on your income taxes.
More and more of our patrons are choosing to make charitable contributions to Opera Colorado through Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs). This option allows donors to manage their charitable giving through a centralized platform, recommending gifts to public organizations of their choice. Please note that these gifts can not be given in exchange for any goods and services, or to pay for an existing pledge.

Donate your vehicle through Cars for Charity, and the proceeds can benefit Opera Colorado! Cars for Charity accepts automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, boats, and recreational RVs, whether or not they’re still running. Donations are tax deductible.
