The Pirates of Penzance
By W.S. Gilbert & Arthur Sullivan
January 2026-May 2026
For Schools & Community Groups
Full of sentimental pirates, blundering policemen, absurd adventures, and improbable paradoxes, experience Gilbert and Sullivan’s hilarious farce!
The story follows the misadventures of young Frederic, an orphan apprenticed to a raucous band of pirates until his twenty-first birthday. After leaving the pirates’ way of life, Frederic falls for the beautiful Mabel, whose father is Major-General Stanley. But, when Frederic’s former boss the Pirate King discovers the Major General’s secret plot, complications abound. Set sail with this classic comedy that boasts some of the most memorable tunes in operetta.
Romeo & Juliet
By Charles Gounod
February 2026-May 2026
For Community Groups
Experience the timeless story of Shakespeare’s classic! The original star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet come from different families who would never approve of their union. While things don’t entirely work out for Romeo and Juliet, their love and sacrifice ultimately inspire the families to stop warring and seek forgiveness. Sung primarily in English, with portions in French, Gounod’s opera and the original Shakespeare play weave together in a seamless adaptation. This performance is a great way to connect audiences to opera with a timeless plot.
Earth to Kenzie
Music by Frances Pollock
Libretto by Jessica Murphy Moo
Coming Soon in Fall 2026
Kenzie is a fifth grader with a BIG imagination and an even bigger love of adventure. When trouble at home forces Kenzie and her mom to move into a family shelter, everything suddenly feels confusing and uncertain. At school, kids ask questions she doesn’t want to answer, and Kenzie wishes she could vanish into her favorite video game—a place full of starships, space-kittens, and endless possibilities. But real life won’t let her hit “pause.” Her asthma slows her down, and the real world keeps calling her back. As Kenzie faces her fears, she discovers something important: finding a home isn’t just about a place—it’s about courage, friendship, and realizing she doesn’t have to face things alone.
