American soprano Ellie Dehn has been praised by critics as “a revelation” (Chicago Sun-Times), acclaimed for her “great stage presence and a voice combining metallic clarity and sensual richness” (Wall Street Journal). Highlights of the 2018-2019 season include her role debut as Strauss’s Arabella with the San Francisco Opera, and concert appearances with the Milwaukee Symphony and San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus.

Career highlights leading roles at the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Rome Opera, Munich’s Bayerische Staatsoper, San Francisco Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Houston Grand Opera, San Diego Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Le Grand Théâtre de Genève and the opera houses of Napoli, Bilbao, Cagliari, Bologna, and Palermo. Orchestral appearances include performances with the Cleveland Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, Cincinnati May Festival, Ravinia Festival, Opera Orchestra of New York, American Symphony Orchestra, Rome’s Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, and the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional of Mexico.
