Bio
For three decades, Jason Ferrante has appeared on opera and concert stages of the world and has been a leading voice teacher of professional opera singers. He is currently a visiting voice teacher to many professional training programs including the ones at the Banff Centre for the Arts as lead faculty, Florentine Opera, Pensacola Opera, Arizona Opera, Opera Colorado, Central City Opera, Jennifer Rowley’s Aria Bootcamp, The Glenn Gould School at the Royal Conservatory, Canadian Opera Company and has served on the faculty at Wolf Trap, Minnesota, Nashville, Brevard and Washington National Opera. His students appear on the greatest opera and concert stages of the world.
He holds the BM, MM from The Juilliard School where he was also a member of the Juilliard Opera Center and is a judge at the district and regional level for the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, a featured clinician on Tonebase and served for a decade as the head of classical voice for YoungArts.
